2022 Anduma Langhe DOC Nebbiolo

Anduma Nebbiolo has been crafted since 1964 in the hilltop town of Cisterna d'Asti. The wine is aged for 6 months in old barriques, the oak only operating texturally and not interfering with flavour or aroma. This pure, open wine is the ultimate introduction to the beauty of Nebbiolo. Dark red heart with black tinged edges and a red to dark red hue. Nosing offers up aromas of dark to black cherries, liquorice, dried herbs, earth, leather and spice. Generous dark and morello cherry fruits are carried across the mid weighted palate with a fleshy texture. Earth, leather and spicy dried herb characters linger through the back half. Sturdy tannins lend a subtle firmness to the spicy mid length conclusion.
