Impenetrable inky black colour with a very deep black dark red hue. Pronounced ripe blackberry and liquorice aromas jump out of the glass followed by vanillin cedar, inky earth and blackpepper notes. The rich, full bodied palate is awash with opulent ripe blackberry and liquorice fruits which overlay vanillin cedar, scorched earth and blackpepper. Inky finish with ripe, slightly chewy tannins leading into a long, lavishly fruited yet robust conclusion.
