2022 All Saints 1920 Old Vine Shiraz
Rich and plush with an earthy leather character lingering through the long finish.
Midnight black heart with a dark red black tinged hue. Aromas of ripe dark plum, liquorice, blackberry and vanillin oak flood the nostrils followed by whiffs of leather, scorched earth and mocha. Rich and fleshy textured, ripe dark plum, liquorice and blackberry fruits are to the fore with spicy vanillin oak, earthy leather and mocha elements lurking underneath. Velvety tannins with an earthy leather character lingering through the long, plush finish.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.

Other Reviews….
Fermented in wax-lined vats, pressed off in an 1883 wooden basket press, maturation in oak barrels. Works a special kind of old-vine magic. There's a natural, effortless balance on show, a synergy that results in concentrated, complex fruit energised by a youthful spirit. Everything is in place – from a heady aroma of Aussie bush, acacia, toasted spices, blackberry and plum to a finely-delivered palate layered in earthy tannins, wood smoke and some electric spiciness. Goes long and lovely. Drink by 2036.
