2021 Wirra Wirra Catapult Shiraz

Matured in a combination of 70% French and 30% American oak of which 20% was new. Impenetrable inky black colour with a deep bright dark red black hue. Elevated liquorice, dark raspberry and plum scents merge with spicy vanillin cedar, inky earth and dried herb scents. Bold, concentrated spicy red plum and liquorice fruits overlay inky earth, vanillin cedar and peppered fennel like characters. Youthful energetic acidity with polished tannins and a bright, richly fruited aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
