2021 Weathercraft Shiraz

Rich and powerful with black fruits framed by a robust tannin structure.

Matured in 25% new French oak for a period of 12 months. Impenetrable inky black heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Dark plum and liquorice scents rise out of the glass followed by scorched earth, vanillin cedar, peppered dried meat and faint leather notes. Rich black cherry, liquorice and dark plum fruits flood the mouth framed by a robust tannin structure which imparts a muscular feel across the back half. Gently smoked vanillin cedar, peppered earth and dried meat elements also chime in. Excellent concentration and power with a long, sternly built yet richly fruited finish.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
