2021 Weathercraft Beechworth Tempranillo

Matured in 100% French oak (30% new) for a period of 10 months. Deep black dark purple colour with a bright youthful purple red hue. Spicy dark to black cherry and red liquorice aromas intermix with inky earth and dried herb notes. Mid weighted with crunchy like acidity providing the dark cherry and red liquorice fruits with an energetic feel. Some earth and spicy dried herb characters are also apparent. Chalky tannins with a slightly grippy and bright yet overall savoury finish.
