Includes 20% whole bunch with maturation taking place in French oak barriques (10% new) for 15 months. Very deep black dark red colour with a bright red purple hue. Fragrant red liquorice, blueberry and plum scents are married to vanillin cedar, earthy fennel and pepper notes. Elegant and possessing a youthful freshness, red liquorice and blueberry fruits decorate the medium bodied palate with vanillin cedar, earthy clove and peppered meat characters underscoring the finish. Bright acidity with fine grained tannins and a fresh mid length aftertaste.
