2021 Warramate Chardonnay

Matured in French oak (10% new) for a period of 9 months. Brilliant very pale straw colour with distinct highlights of green around the outskirts and a watery hue. Lifted nectarine and citrus aromas meld into hints of bees wax, nougat and faint cashew. Relatively light in body the palate has a refined flavour profile of fleshy nectarine, citrus, delicate cashew and a flinty mineral element. Finishes dry with lively acidity and an elegant aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
