2021 Warrabilla Reserve Durif

Amazing density of colour featuring an inky black heart that runs all the way to the rim. Still quite compact, the nose throws up scents of black cherry and liquorice which are complimented by a mix of graphite and black olive notes. Some vanillin cedar and white pepper is also present. Dense and ultra rich morello to black cherry and liquorice fruits are supported by an iron girder like framework of tannins that together with very bright acidity gives the full bodied palate a tense, tightly packed feel. Amply powered with the back half picking up elements of vanillin cedar, graphite and pepper. Concludes bold, long and assertive.
