2021 Wantirna Estate Hannah Cabernet Franc Merlot

The 2021 vintage included warm, sunny days and cool to almost cold nights, creating optimal ripening temperatures. While the berries may not have accumulated significantly more sugar, the extended time on the vines allowed for the development of soft yet grainy tannins, which formed the backbone of these wines. The Hannah was fermented in 100% new French oak and was matured in bottle for 18 months before its release. This resulted in a superb vintage where the fruit, oak, and tannins were seamlessly integrated, offering a delightful and delicious composition.
