Aged in 50% new French oak barrels for 12 months. Deep dark red black colour with a dark red purple hue. Perfumed like aromatics of violet, black cherry and ripe strawberry mix with vanillin cedar, light scorched earth and spicy fresh herb notes. Rich, juicy black fruits are intertwined with a twist of sour cherries. Lively acidity with some vanillin earth, dried herb and spice elements lying underneath. Excellent power and weight with polished yet sturdy tannins and a ripe spicy aftertaste.
