2021 Vincent Mothe Vaucoupin Chablis Premier Cru

Bright pale straw to straw colour with flashes of green around the outskirts and a watery hue. The nose exhibits Chablis’ classic stony character with intense pear and lime aromas complimented by hints of dried honey, wet stone, fresh herb and oyster shell. The multilayered palate features a wonderful river stone like textural quality with green pear and lime fruits melding into a stony mineral, fresh herb and oyster shell like back drop. Finishes dry with invigorating yet perfectly balanced acidity and a long stony laced aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
