2021 Tscharke Stone Well Grenache

Certified organic. Dark red in colour with black toned edges and a bright ruby red hue. Gorgeous aromatics of red raspberry, cherry, red plum and red liquorice are complimented by notes of fresh herbs, crushed rock, smoky earth and pepper. Delicious red to dark raspberry, ripe cherry and red liquorice fruits are supplely draped across the palate with subtle scorched earth, dried herb and spicy pepper elements lending further nuance across the back half. Boasting terrific intensity and power along with a sturdy yet velvety tannin structure it finishes fresh, very long and succulent.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.

Stone Well-sourced grenache, destemmed and aged in terracotta amphorae for 13 months. Light crimson in the glass with notes of ripe plum, raspberry and cranberries set on a canvas of gingery spice, red licorice, earth, cola and purple flowers. There is a lovely flow of spiced, plummy fruit on the palate that's pure and true. Superfine sandy tannins and a bright yet stony line of acidity drive the wine forward. This will take a light chill if the weather dictates such actions. Drink by 2028.
