2021 Tonic Shiraz

Dense inky black in colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Aromas of ripe blackberry, liquorice and dark plum sail out of the glass followed by some vanillin earth and dark chocolate notes. Rich and concentrated the full bodied palate is generously endowed with succulent blackberry, dark plum and liquorice fruits. Spicy vanilla, dusty earth and peppered fennel elements lie underneath. Lush yet slightly chewy in its feel with a sturdy tannin structure firming up the long juicy yet quite energetic finish.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.
