Matured for 12 months in French and American oak. Dense inky black in colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Intense cassis, blackberry and liquorice aromas meld into dried herb, vanillin cedar and spice notes. Rich, luscious blackcurrant and liquorice fruits sit over a vanillin cedar, tobacco and spicy dried herb back drop. Excellent concentration with velvety tannins, bright youthful acidity and a juicy conclusion.
