Dense inky black heart with a very deep black dark red hue. Intense liquorice and dark plum aromas are complimented by notions of fennel, vanillin oak and peppered herbs. Rich, concentrated liquorice and dark plum fruits carry an opulent feel across the full bodied palate. Black cherry, fennel, spicy vanillin cedar and pepper characters also chime in. Velvet smooth tannins. Excellent power with a long sumptuous aftertaste.
