2021 Tenuta Le Calcinaie Vernaccia di San Gimignano

Brilliant pale straw colour with a faint tinge of green around the edges and a watery hue. Aromas of pear, lime and green apple are followed by wet slate and mineral notes. Vibrant lime, pear and green apple flavours are underscored by infusions of fresh herbs, slate and a saline like minerality. Light and racy in its feel, it finishes dry with crunchy acidity and a zippy, saline laced aftertaste.
