Deep dark red black colour with a bright dark red purple hue. Fragrantly scented the nose offers up rose petal top notes followed by dark cherry and red liquorice with some inky earth and spicy fresh herbs also evident. Delicious juicy cherry, red currant and liquorice fruits are underscored by vibrant acidity and a sturdy tannin structure. Notions of inky earth, light tobacco and spicy dried herbs also chime in.
Finishes gently chewy, fresh and very savoury.
