2021 Tapanappa Foggy Hill Vineyard Pinot Noir

Aged in French oak barriques of which 30% were new. Semi translucent bright red to dark red colour with subtle tinges of black to the edges and a crimson red hue. Intensely perfumed scents of violet, ripe strawberries and red to dark cherries unfurl from the glass with some anise, fresh herbs and spicy cedar also evident. Light in body the palate features red cherry and strawberry fruits over infusions of fresh herbs, delicate forest floor and spicy cedar. Bright acidity and fine grained tannins combine to form an elegant, spicy medium length conclusion.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
