From 55 year old vines. Brilliant pale straw colour with green flecked edges and a watery hue. Elevated lime zest, pear skin and Granny Smith apple aromas are intermeshed with fresh herb, slate and flinty mineral notes. Energetic and intensely flavoured, zippy pear, lime, green apple and subtle mandarin fruits show great line and tension underpinned crisp acidity. Wet slate and flinty elements the bedrock with infusions of fresh herbs adding further nuance. Dry, taut finish with plenty of zing to the long aftertaste.
