2021 Spinifex Rose

A blend of 52% Grenache, 30% Mataro, 16% Shiraz and 2% Cinsault with five percent of the wine fermented and aged in old French oak demi-muids. Bright salmon pink colour. Nosing provides an aromatic profile of cherries, pomegranate and blood orange with a faint whiff of spicy Turkish delight and wet stone also evident. Delicious peach, blood orange and water melon fruits are both brisk and rounded in their feel. Finishes dry and crisp with some underlying stoniness on the lip smacking aftertaste.
