2021 Sons of Eden Pumpa Cabernet Sauvignon

A blend of 89% Cabernet Sauvignon and 11% Shiraz matured in a mix of new and seasoned oak hogsheads. Magnificent super saturated inky black heart with an equally deep black bright dark red hue. Intense red to black currant and ripe mulberry scents penetrate the olfactory senses. Notions of red liquorice, subtle cedary tobacco, dried herb and spice notes ensue. Medium bodied, rich yet youthful red currant and mulberry fruits are underscored by some red liquorice, light cedary tobacco characters and spice. Fresh acidity and a fine grained tannin structure compliment the bright red fruit profile. Refined feel concluding with plenty of energy and loads of red fruit.
