2021 Singlefile Tempranillo

Matured in single use Bordeaux oak barriques (40%) with the balance in 2 year old barriques for a period of 7 months.
Inky black core with a deep dark red black hue. The nose expresses aromas of black cherry, plum and liquorice over subtle vanillin cedar, inky earth and spice notes. Rich dark to black cherry, dark plum and liquorice flavours saturate the palate. Bright acidity and a chewy tannin structure underpin the juicy fruit. Notions of vanillin cedar and spicy earth are also apparent. Slightly dryish finish with the amply concentrated aftertaste showing plenty of flesh.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
