2021 Sinapius Esme Gamay

Aged in foudre and old oak for 8 months. Semi translucent red colour with a light crimson red hue. Perfumed like aromas of rose petals, red cherries and wild strawberries have a distinct smoky clove like overlay with some incense and spicy earth notes also present. Light in body, delicious red cherry and red raspberry fruits make a supple entry with infusions of incense, dried clove and spice on the back half. Polished tannins, a burst of fresh acidity giving the savoury aftertaste an energetic feel.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
