2021 Scotchmans Hill Pinot Noir

Includes 15% whole bunch fruit with maturation taking place in new to 4 year old French oak barriques for a period of 12 months. Semi translucent dark red core with black shaded edges and a light yet vibrant red hue. Perfumed like aromas of violets, rose petals, ripe red cherries and strawberries blossom out of the glass followed by anise, subtle forest floor and spicy cedar. Supplely textured and light in body the palate features red cherry and strawberry fruits over infusions of fresh herbs, forest floor and spicy cedar characters. Good energy with polished tannins finishing fresh, elegant and red fruited.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
