2021 Santolin Gladysdale Chardonnay

Barrel fermented with maturation in 75% new French oak on lees for a period of 10 months. Brilliant pale straw colour with a greenish tone to the edges and a watery hue. Nectarine, citrus and grapefruit aromas mix with hints of biscuity oak and gun flint. Rich yet refined the mid weighted palate features white peach, nectarine and dried honey flavours over a cashew, biscuity nougat and spice back drop. Gently creamy in its feel it finishes fresh, long and beautifully shaped.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
