2021 Robin Brockett Heyward Vineyard Chardonnay

Fermented and matured in French oak barrels with monthly lees stirring for a period of 12 months. Bright pale straw colour with greenish toned edges and a watery hue. Aromas of white peach, nectarine and dried honey drift from the glass followed by hints of nougat, cashew, biscuity oak and spice. A rich creamy texture is complimented by fresh underlying acidity with the mid weighted palate featuring fleshy peach, nectarine and dried honey flavours over a subtle crème brulee, citrusy nougat and cashew back drop. Concludes long and generous yet refined.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
