2021 Robert Oatley G-21 Grenache

The Robert Oatley Signature Series uses excellent vineyards managed by winemaker Larry Cherubino to highlight Australia's best wine styles and regions.
Grenache from the southern part of McLaren Vale undergoes fermentation on skins in open and closed fermenters, followed by brief maturation in tank before bottling.
Semi translucent dark red core with black shaded edges and a bright red hue. Enticing red to dark raspberry, red liquorice and dark cherry aromas drift through the olfactory senses with good intensity. Trailing notes of fresh herbs, earth and vanillin spice are also evident. Delicious red to dark raspberry, ripe cherry and liquorice fruits slide across the palate with a silken feel. Some vanillin spice and subtle peppered earth elements lie underneath. Finishes with good freshness, polished tannins and a long succulent aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
