2021 Quealy Mornington Peninsula Pinot Noir

This is the only blended Pinot in Quealy’s range, drawn from all four of their premium vineyards. Planted to different clones and with varying vine age, what binds these sites is Quealy’s viticulture: the estate manages every vine. Each portion of the batch was matured individually in a mixture of new and older barrels for 15 months before assembling and bottling.

Light cloudy red colour with a translucent red hue. Fragrant violet, red cherry, rhubarb, winter strawberry and gentle clove scents are followed by forest floor and spicy cedar notes. Delicious red cherry and strawberry fruits infused with a savoury clove element overlay forest floor and light cedar. Polished tannins combine with fresh acidity. The aftertaste long and savoury.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
