Semi translucent red to dark red colour with a light red hue. Fragrant red cherry and rhubarb scents infused with violets and clove drift through the nostrils followed by some forest floor and stalky notes. Spicy red to dark cherry and rhubarb flavours meld into a dried clove, smoked meat and forest floor back drop. Fine grained tannins with a savoury finish of red cherries, rhubarb, dried clove and spice.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.

Other Reviews….
Moorabool fruit. Whole bunches (20%), fermented wild, 20% new French oak. This just has that crackle, that something. It's both light and frisky but it extends long through the finish, throwing myriad flavours along the way. Undergrowth, macerated cherry, handfuls of sweet spices, gently bitter twig-like notes and wild thyme. Give it a few years to properly unfurl; it needs it. Drink by 2031.
