Spicy dark to black cherry aromas mix with rhubarb, scorched earth, dried herb and subtle strawberry notes. Rich dark to black cherry and strawberry fruits overlay earth, smoky cedar, dried herbs and spice. Fleshy textured and concentrated it has polished tannins. Finishes long and ripe yet savoury.

Other Reviews....
Beautiful definition across the trio of Principia pinots, this is the most savoury yet still excellent fruit in the mix. Rhubarb, dark cherries, blood orange and chinotto with heady aromas of damp forest floor and baking spices. Fuller bodied with shapely, velvety tannins and fine acidity all add to the wine’s terrific length and carry. Best of all, this is so delicious. Classy wine. Drink 2023 - 2033.
