2021 Pllana Liam Barossa Shiraz - Last Stocks

Made from the spectacular 2021 vintage, fruit was sourced from a number of different growers with maturation taking place in a mixture of French, Hungarian and American oak barrels for a period of 9 months. Pitch black heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Engulfing the nostrils is a heady wave of liquorice, ripe black cherry and dark plum aromatics which are followed up by some gently smoked vanillin cedar, fennel and peppered earth notes. Rich, plush and concentrated, the weighty palate is seductively layered with a coating of liquorice, ripe black cherry and dark plum fruits. Smoky vanillin cedar, earth and peppered fennel elements the undercard. Velvety textured it has a silky smooth tannins and a long opulent finish.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
