2021 Pizzini Pietra Rossa Sangiovese

Dark red in colour with black shaded edges and a bright red hue. Attractive spicy red currant and red cherry aromas infused with rose petals blossom from the glass trailed by some tobacco, dusty cedar and dried herb notes. Elegantly structured and mid weighted the delicious palate is layered with ripe red currant and red cherry fruits which overlay a dried herb, spicy tobacco and dusty cedar back drop. Energetic acidity and fine grained tannins with a savoury red fruited conclusion.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
