2021 Pirathon Silver Label Shiraz

Rich, velvety and sumptuous.

Fruit was sourced from the Marananga sub district with maturation taking place in new and old American, French and Hungarian oak for a period of 15 months. Dense inky black heart with a very deep dark red black tinged hue. Wafting out of the glass are decadent aromas of dark plum, liquorice and mocha followed by vanillin oak, subtle fennel and peppered earth notes. Rich, dense and very concentrated, the voluptuous palate is swamped with lavish dark plum, liquorice and blackberry fruits. Spicy vanillin oak, earthy fennel, subtle mocha and pepper elements follow through on the back half. Possessing hefty size, velvet smooth tannins and impressive power, it finishes long and sumptuous.
