2021 Penny’s Hill Edwards Road Cabernet Sauvignon

Magnificent colour saturation featuring an impenetrable black as night core with a near equally deep dark red black hue. Drifting through the olfactory senses are aromas of ripe blackcurrant, mulberry and red liquorice which are followed by vanillin cedar, dusty earth and spicy tobacco notes. Ripe, firm and tannic the robust palate features ripe blackcurrant and red liquorice fruits over cedary tobacco, dried herb and spice characters. Concludes dryish and quite grippy. Patience required.
