2021 Pencarrow Pinot Noir

Aged for 10 months in French oak of which 25% was new. Dark red core with black shaded edges and a red to dark red hue. Blossoming out of the glass are intense dark plum, anise and dark cherry aromas which are followed by some toasty cedar, forest floor and dried herb notes. Rich and ripe in texture, the mid weighted palate is decorated with juicy dark plum, anise and dark cherry fruits. Toasty oak, earth and dried herb elements lie underneath. Possessing excellent power and velvety tannins it finishes long and plush with a dash of spice making an appearance.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
