2021 Pedestal Chardonnay

Fermented and matured in French oak for 8 months. Brilliant pale straw colour with a touch of green to the edges and a watery hue. Aromas of white peach, nectarine and dried honey show good elevation out of the glass with notions of subtle cashew, nougat and spice ensuing. Mid weighted flavours of nectarine, citrus and delicate grapefruit carry good freshness over a background of light gun flint characters. Vivid acidity with a bright and elegant conclusion.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
