Dense pitch black heart with a very deep dark red black hue. Intense ripe blackcurrant aromas mix with liquorice, vanillin cedar, tobacco, earthy black olive and spicy dried herb notes. Rich, concentrated and solidly built, lush blackcurrant and liquorice fruits swamp the full bodied palate. Cigar box, earthy black olive and spicy bay leaf elements sit underneath. Firm, grainy tannins impart some grip across the robust yet ripe and fleshy finish.
