Maturation took place in 15% new French oak puncheons with the balance in 2-5 year old French oak barriques and puncheons. Brilliant pale straw colour with a subtle tinge of green around the edges and a watery hue. Elevated white peach and nectarine scents are followed by subtle dried honey, biscuity nougat and spice notes. Fleshy white peach, ripe nectarine and dried honey flavours carry ample richness and volume with biscuity oak, nougat and subtle crème brulee elements lingering through the back half. A creamy texture counter pointed by a nicely balanced freshness. Finishes long, layered and moreish.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
Alc. 13.3%

Other Reviews….
A single-vineyard wine from the Full Moon vineyard in Gladysdale. Matured for 10 months in French puncheons (20% new). A bright green gold. An attractive and vibrant nose with white stone fruits, a little green mango and lemongrass. With its good drive and persistence, this really well-weighted wine has nectarine fruit and finishes long and satisfying. Excellent value. Drink by 2025.
