Matured in 15% new French oak for 10 months on lees. Brilliant pale straw colour with highlights of green around the outskirts and a watery hue. White peach, nectarine and citrus aromas mix with biscuity oak, faint dried honey and spicy cashew. Delicious ripe nectarine and pear fruits drive the palate. Adding a touch of refinement are biscuity oak, citrusy nougat, light cashew and delicate infusions of gun flint. The elegant finish showing plenty of freshness and length. Requires some further bottle age to flesh out.
