2021 Old Mill Reserve Shiraz

Rich and weighty with firm, muscular tannins and a toasty oak laden finish.

Matured in new and second use American oak barrels for 3 years. Impenetrable pitch black heart with a very deep dark red black hue. Heady ripe blackberry, liquorice and black cherry aromas are intermeshed with toasty vanillin oak, subtle earthy mocha and pepper notes. Rich, dense and concentrated, the weighty palate is coated with a thick layer of black cherry, liquorice and blackberry fruits. Toasty vanillin oak, scorched earth and blackpepper characters are highlighted across the back half. A firm, muscular tannin structure lends some grip to the toasty oak laden finish.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
