2021 Murdoch Hill Sauvignon Blanc
Brilliant water like colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Intense ripe gooseberry, passionfruit and green apple aromas have a distinct grassy asparagus overlay with a touch of minerality also present. Concentrated passionfruit, green apple and gooseberry flavours are texturally mouth filling with some herbaceous grassy and mineral characters lingering in the back ground. Crisp acidity with a long flavoursome finish.
The white flowers of the bouquet move right towards jasmine, the palate veering left with flecks of grapefruit and snow pea, acidity brightening the finish. Drink by 2025.
