Semi translucent dark red colour with black shaded edges and a light red hue. Fragrant violet, cherry and strawberry scents blossom out of the glass with hints of anise, forest floor and spicy dried herbs also chiming in. Light in body the palate has a spice laden flavour profile of dark cherries and strawberries over anise, forest floor and fresh herbs. Supple mouth feel with polished tannins and nicely balanced acidity. Concludes long and savoury.
