2021 Metala Shiraz

Dense inky black in colour with a deep dark red black hue. Pronounced liquorice and black cherry aromas intermix with toasty vanillin oak and peppered earth like notes. Full in body the palate is awash with rich liquorice, black cherry and blackberry fruits that have an opulent feel. Spicy vanillin oak, scorched earth and pepper lie underneath. Polished yet gently sturdy tannin framework. Excellent depth and concentration concluding a touch inky with a long succulent black fruited aftertaste. Great value.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
