2021 Maude Pinot Noir

Produced with the inclusion of 22% whole bunch fruit and matured for a period of 10 months in barrique. Deep dark red heart with black shaded edges and a dark red hue. Perfumed like aromas of violets, red to dark cherries, wild strawberries and anise blossom out of the glass followed by fresh herb, forest floor and spicy cedar notes. Light to mid weight the palate is well endowed with rich dark cherry, red plum and strawberry fruits. Subtle anise, earth, fresh herb and spicy cedar elements lie in the background. Supple and expansive with polished tannins it finishes with good freshness and a long seductive aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
