2021 Masso Antico Primitivo

Yet again this wine has been rated a massive 99 points by Italian wine critic Luca Maroni. Deep black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Luscious ripe black cherry and liquorice aromas mix with vanillin oak, scorched earth and hints of cinnamon spice. Rich sweet black cherry, black plum and liquorice fruits hang over a toasty vanilla, earth and cinnamon back drop. Opulent and lush texturally it has a polished tannin structure and concludes long, spicy and succulently fruited.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
