2021 Main & Cherry Sangiovese

Matured in French oak for 6 months. Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Nosing offers up ripe red raspberry and red currant aromas infused with fresh herbs which are trailed by some light earth and spice notes. Light to medium bodied the palate features spicy red currant fruits over a back drop of earth, subtle tobacco and dried herbs. Slightly dryish tannins have a chalky feel. Bright acidity concluding with a savoury aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
