2021 Lone Star Creek Vineyard Pinot Gris

Translucent apricot pink tinged colour with a watery hue. Elevated spicy pear, apple skin and quince notes fill the nostrils. Vibrant pear and red apple combine with quince over a spicy back drop. Finishes dry and tangy with some blood orange on the lively aftertaste.
Drink over the next year.

I love how dry this feels, how it crackles with spice, how the sparks seem to fly as it trips through your mouth. It’s impeccable Pinot Gris, hay-like, spicy, dosed with just-enough fruit, savoury and engaging. It’s fantastic value, no problems, for sure. Drink 2022-2024.
