Matured for 15 months in French oak. Impenetrable super saturated inky black colour with a deep dark purple black hue. The nose is loaded with dark plum and liquorice fruits which are trailed by some vanillin cedar, graphite and pepper notes. Rich, fleshy liquorice, dark plum and mint flavours flood the mouth with some spicy vanillin cedar, earth and pepper elements lying underneath. Amply concentrated it has a slightly chalky tannin structure finishing with plenty of freshness on the succulent aftertaste.
