2021 Kenny Wine Auburn Shiraz

Five percent whole bunch inclusion with maturation taking place in French oak for a period of 9 months. Pitch black heart with a deep dark purple black hue. Blackpepper infused aromas of blackberry and liquorice emanate from the glass followed by some smoked meat, earth and spicy dried herb notes. Fleshy dark plum and liquorice fruits carry medium body weight and good richness over a blueberry, peppered dried meat, vanillin cedar and spice back drop. Refined in its feel it has a polished yet sturdy tannin framework and concludes with a relatively elegant mid length finish.
